What is RespiratorFit Testing?
An OSHA-required annual test to ensure tight-fitting respirators seal properly to an individual's face.
Respirator fit testing is a mandatory annual procedure that verifies a tight-fitting respirator forms an adequate seal on an employee's face. OSHA requires this testing under 1910.134(f)(2) to ensure respirators provide expected protection levels.
